The Incredible Paulk, my new short documentary film,  premiers in Australia! Oct 2025 + Nov screenings! And more...THE INCREDIBLE PAULK (PREMIER SCREENING IN AUSTRALIA + LONDON + more -​ OCT + NOV 2025)
​Christoph Gelfand + I are stoked to announce our new short documentary film, The Incredible Paulk, about professional adaptive surfer Aaron Paulk, will premier at the 2025 Byron Bay International Film Festival in lovely Byron Bay Australia - a surf community. We're honored to be including and to screen our film alongside so many other meaningful and impactful films. 

This film is a big time team effort directed by Christoph + I, produced in collaboration with big wave surf photographer, filmmaker and journalist Sachi Cunningham; composer Ryan Rumery (This American Life, and Tony Award winner for Best Sound Design of a Play for his work on Stereophonic, and sound mixer badass April Tucker. With support from: PUFFIN FOUNDATION and Ocutech Inc.

Our film is just hitting the festival circuit now, and will also screen in November 2025 at the 2025 London Surf / Film Festival. More info soon.

We're screening some of our short films ("Diving for Scallops" + "KEEPER")at the NB Whaling National Historical Park's 55-seat auditorium, on Nov 21, 2025. Organized by New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center. FREE! And Christoph + I will be there in person for post-screening conversation and Q+A and to get to the bottom of how to pronounce "scallop" the Maine way. COME THROUGH, New Bedford is a neat city!
