Super happy to announce that a new short documentary I co-produced with filmmaker and artist Christoph Gelfand (@truelifemedia) is in the NYTimes today - as part of the Op-Docs series! It is called Diving For Scallops. Be sure to check out the Op-Docs Series - there are some great short films very worth exploring. A longer version of our film will screening at some film festivals this Fall. So, stay tuned, y'all.

Hello! In June, Kelly Rioux, Chris Byron and I debuted our documentary installation Home/Resilience at the Augusta Colonial Theater - it was really fun and really meaningful. Thanks to the SPACE GALLERY Kindling Fund for helping make it possible. And mostly, thanks to Ruth and Nona for letting us into their lives and sharing their wisdom. We love our friendship. Chris, Kelly and I are facilitating Oral History & Memory Portrait workshops for the residents of the Inn at City Hall this month (thanks to the City of Augusta for the $ funding to make this possible). We plan to have a show of the recorded oral histories and the memory portraits in the Fall/early winter. Also, I'm getting excited to show my new documentary film (created with my filmmaker pal Christoph Gelfand). We have some sweet upcoming announcements about where you will be able catch it - in Maine and beyond. So, please stay tuned in the coming weeks. Happy Summer. |
